Kumanokodo, for body and soul …

The ancient Kumano region is located in the South of the Kii Peninsula, covering part of Nara and Wakayama Prefectures, touching on Mie with the route to Ise. For a thousand years, merchants, pilgrims, monks, and even emperors have been walking part its trails, today a twin route with Camino de Santiago.

Walk the route, soak in onsen waters, dine on local cuisine, sleep at simple inns challenges the body, clears the mind, is exhilarating when reaching the sacred goal after 3 to 5 days of efforts, up and down the countless hills.

Across a year Passerelle brought clients and walked the 3 main routes to the 3 Kumano shrines over 3 seasons (spring, summer and autumn).
